I love anything crafty and for many years wanted to learn to sew and possibly be able to make a quilt. I now have a wonderful neighbor who has agreed to teach me. I am very excited since I have had a sewing machine for a few years but barely know how to turn it on. We have been talking about patterns for my starter quilt for a little while and found something I hope to manage. The instructions calls for flannel and I love flannel! Today we went to get our fabric and they had so many colors and patterns I could have looked for hours and imagined all the beautiful things that could be made but I finally decided on the pretty flannel you see in this picture.
